Gate 39 Media Launches Corix Onboarding and Client Portal Platform, Adding Equities Support

Formerly FCM1, the rebuilt platform adds a new user experience, an API-based architecture, and Plaid-powered KYC/AML and banking, supporting leading equities and futures clearing firms.

CHICAGO, November 9, 2026 — Gate 39 Media today announced the launch of Corix, an account onboarding and client portal platform for clearing firms and brokerages. Corix, formerly known as FCM1, gives firms digital account opening, a branded client portal, and treasury and back-office operations on one platform. With this release, Corix adds support for equities alongside futures. Corix Predictions, for prediction markets, launches in Q1 2027.

For most firms, opening an account is a client's first real experience with them. At many firms that process still runs on paper applications, emailed PDFs, and manual data entry, which slows funding and the first trade and creates compliance exposure. Corix replaces it with a streamlined, user-friendly application that opens accounts as quickly as possible, with as much of the process automated as possible. It connects directly to the firm's clearing and back-office systems.

Corix is built for two kinds of firms. The first is brokerages that want their own branded, custom account opening and client experience. The second is clearing firms that want to upgrade an existing online system, or put one in place for the first time.

What's new in Corix

• A new user experience. Corix has a redesigned interface for clients, brokers, and operations teams. It is white-labeled to each firm's brand and built to work on any device.
• API-based architecture. Corix connects to clearing and back-office systems through APIs. It sends approved account data automatically and retrieves account numbers without manual entry. A REST API and webhooks support integrations with trading platforms and CRMs like HubSpot.
• Plaid for KYC/AML and banking. Identity verification, KYC/AML checks, and bank account validation are part of the application itself through Plaid. Clients upload a photo of their driver's license, which pre-populates the application and is used in the KYC review, so there's less typing and a faster approval. Clients can link and verify a bank account and fund the account without leaving the process.
• Equities support. Broker-dealers can now open and service equities accounts on Corix. That includes digital applications, compliance review, funding, and portal access.
• Corix Portal. One branded portal shows clients their real-time balances, positions, and trades. Clients can request ACH transfers and wires and access statements and tax documents. A broker portal shows brokers application status and their own book.
• Treasury and operations. ACH and wire requests move through compliance, accounting, and treasury approvals. Balances are checked against each request, and a full audit trail records every action.
• Built for regulated environments. Corix includes role-based access, two-factor authentication, and encrypted data and documents. Sensitive client information stays inside the platform and is never sent by email.

Two products: Corix Onboard and Corix Portal

Corix is offered as two products, so firms can choose the one that fits:

• Corix Onboard covers digital account opening. That includes the application, driver's license upload, KYC/AML, compliance review, approval, funding setup, and delivery of new accounts to the clearing firm. It's for firms that need a fast, automated way to open accounts.
• Corix Portal includes everything in Corix Onboard, plus the ongoing client relationship. Clients get a branded portal with real-time balances, positions, and trades, ACH and wire requests, and statements and tax documents. Brokers get a broker portal with application status and their book.

Firms can start with Corix Onboard and upgrade to Corix Portal later.

Asset classes and clearing firms

Corix now supports equities and futures through Corix Equities and Corix Futures. Corix Predictions, the platform's prediction markets product, launches in Q1 2027. Supported clearing firms include:

• Equities: RQD* and Wedbush
• Futures: Dorman Trading and Wedbush
• Prediction markets (launching Q1 2027): Wedbush

Gate 39 Media is working with additional clearing firms and expects to name more in the coming months.

Independent by design

Gate 39 Media is independently owned and has no ownership ties to any clearing firm, exchange, or trading platform. That keeps Corix conflict-free. Firms choose the clearing firms, exchanges, technology providers, and asset classes that fit their business, and Corix connects to them.
