About FairX

FairX was founded in collaboration with leading industry firms as a brand-new futures exchange to deliver futures products that meet the needs of active retail investors globally. The FairX value proposition was to lower the barrier of entry for individual traders by offering micro and nano contracts. The concept of fairness and a level playing field needed to be baked into the design.

Gate 39's Solution

Gate 39 shaped the brand identity of the exchange ahead of its acquisition success by establishing:

Gate 39's Impact

The identity structure created for the FairX brand resulted in a successful launch in May 2021 and contributed in part to the eventual acquisition of the exchange by Coinbase in January 2022.

On May 5, 2022 Gate 39 Media was announced as a Bronze Level Winner for the FairX project in the category of Branding & Advertising for B2B Visual Identity at the 28th Annual Financial Communications Society Portfolio Awards.
