In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we at Gate 39 Media are delighted to highlight the work and achievements of women across the board – including this short list of not so well-known women who changed the world. As part of our core values, we recognize how important it is to honor upstanding female role models every day—even beyond the month of March. Looking back to history’s heroines is one way to acknowledge the difference that women make in the world as we reflect on the milestones of female names known and unknown alike.
