Last year at INBOUND, HubSpot introduced new Breeze AI capabilities, Smart CRM developments, and The Loop, its marketing methodology for the age of AI. Since then, the company has continued releasing tools designed to connect data, automate work, and support more of the customer journey.

Our team has spent the past year exploring many of these developments firsthand. Now, we're getting ready to head to the renamed UNBOUND 2026. Here are five questions we’ll be taking with us.

1. Where Will HubSpot Take AI Agents Next?

AI in HubSpot is moving beyond writing emails and summarizing CRM records. It is becoming an active participant in marketing, sales, and service work.

The Prospecting Agent can research accounts and help sales teams prepare more relevant outreach. Breeze can generate custom code for workflow actions, and one newly announced beta allows marketers to create blog drafts through Breeze Assistant and Content Agent.

These tools can reduce repetitive work, but they also raise questions about accuracy, governance, brand voice, and human oversight.

On our UNBOUND Radar: We’ll be watching to see whether HubSpot introduces more agents or focuses on helping businesses customize, manage, and measure the agents already available.

2. Will HubSpot Connect More of the Customer Lifecycle?

HubSpot is expanding beyond marketing automation and sales CRM to support more of the customer relationship.

This year, we incorporated HubSpot Projects into our sales-to-client handoff. When a deal closes, HubSpot creates a connected Project record containing the relevant contacts, tasks, responsibilities, and sales context.

Help Desk brings customer conversations into the same platform, while HubSpot’s event-management capabilities can connect registration, attendance, follow-up, and reporting.

Together, these tools point toward a platform supporting marketing, sales, service, delivery, and retention as one connected experience.

UNBOUND Radar: We’ll be looking for additional ways HubSpot plans to bridge the gaps between these teams.

3. How Will HubSpot Make Personalization Easier to Manage?

Personalization requires accurate data and tools that help employees act on the information relevant to their roles.

Several recent HubSpot betas address that operational foundation. Conditional property logic can use multiple conditions to control when properties appear or become required. Customizable CRM title cards let teams decide which information is most prominent on a record. A more flexible dashboard grid provides greater control over how reports are presented.

These may seem like small interface changes, but they can reduce clutter, improve data collection, and make the CRM more useful for different teams.

UNBOUND Radar: We’ll be watching for more developments in data management, segmentation, reporting, and workflow logic that make personalization practical behind the scenes.

Note: Beta availability may depend on a company’s HubSpot products, subscription level, and enrollment.

4. What Comes Next for HubSpot’s Connected Ecosystem?

Most businesses need HubSpot to work alongside industry-specific platforms and other operational tools. Effective integrations must move information reliably, prevent unnecessary duplication, and make data usable across the organization.

We have explored these challenges in our guides to connecting HubSpot with other applications and managing the Salesforce and HubSpot sync.

HubSpot’s 2026 developer updates, including App Pages, improved serverless functions, expanded webhooks, and new MCP servers, offer developers more ways to build on and connect the platform.

UNBOUND Radar: We’ll be listening for developments that make these integrations more reliable and manageable for organizations with complex technology environments.

5. What Does The Loop Look Like One Year Later?

At INBOUND 2025, HubSpot introduced The Loop, a methodology organized around four stages:

  • Express: Establish a clear brand identity.
  • Tailor: Use customer context to create relevant experiences.
  • Amplify: Expand content across the channels audiences use.
  • Evolve: Apply performance data to learn and improve.

One year later, we’re interested in how The Loop is developing from a strategic framework into a repeatable practice.

Newer HubSpot capabilities support each stage. AI tools can help teams create and distribute content, better CRM data can support tailored experiences, and flexible reporting can help teams evolve their approach.

The technology still requires a clear strategy, reliable data, and human judgment.

UNBOUND Radar: We’ll be looking for practical examples and tools that help organizations put The Loop into practice.

Follow Along from UNBOUND 2026

HubSpot’s recent releases suggest that AI, customization, connected data, and usability will remain major areas of investment.
